Christmas season is the best time to bond. Rommel and I are both on leave for several days so we took the time to eat whatever we want. Chilling here with a beer absolutely made our day.

Good News: They don't have service charge. Bad News: Their service is bad. 

Good thing, their bagoong rice was heavenly that the next day, we tried doing it for breakfast at home. 

Chili's

It's our first year anniversary and hopefully the mark of the many years to come. 

We have always wanted to try Chili's because Rommel's best buddy works there in Dubai. He used to tell us about the kind of food they serve but have so many other restaurants on our list. Finally, we made it!

It was the perfect anniversary date. We really enjoyed the food. My tummy was so full but  my mouth couldn't stop telling me to keep on eating. As Rommel would say it, "Easy Ten". Their staff was very accommodating  the place cozy, the food is super duper yummy. I can't say anything bad about them. 

Merry Christmas!

This is probably the third Christmas I wasn't exactly home. Due to some conflict in schedule, i decided not to come home to Palawan this Christmas Break. I'm not feeling lonely though because i got to spend it with +Rommel Tan. 

I have all the reason to love this season and I hope we are all on the same page.

Nail•A•Holics

It was a Friday plus it's December and you know how it is with traffic during this season. You don't know where all the vehicles have come from. They all suddenly decided to get out of their niches.
So there I was in Megamall, after a long day from work, I went to buy a travelling bag from  for my MMA training.I just got my bonus and i wanted to treat myself for something special so i looked for a Nail Salon. i decided by impulse again. I found this nice spa which is called Nail.a.holics. They have a very good service. I didn't plan for it, so when i went there, I was wearing jeans and sneakers. The 2 attendants (one for the hands, the other for the feet) have very light hands. They have this soft couch with a lot of pillows making you feel like a queen. What's good about them is that after the attendant is done with one hand (for example), she would ask you to look at your hand to check if you liked it or not or if there's something you want to change o tiny bit of detail that didn't pass your standard. For it was a real plus because i tend to get busy reading the magazine whenever i'm in a salon. Anyway, they look trustworthy to deal with thy nails.

Arya!

No, this is not from Cesar Montano's movie. Arya is basically a Persian Restaurant. So, Yes! Kebab. Kebab. Kebab. Expect the taste of pepper, herbs and spices which i don't know what they're actually called because i don't cook but i am very much proud to say i just know how to eat a lot. 

We have planned several times to try this restaurant but it was only now when we finally did it. We just wanted to taste all kinds of delicacies. We usually enjoy Mexican food or pasta. So for a change in scenery as well, we tried Mediterranean this time. 

Kabab Combination: Ghafghazi skewers of Beef Shish and Royal Joojeh Kabab

Mourgh Donar Kabab shredded chicken in vegetables wrapped in Pita bread served with french fries and salad. 

This restaurant is an 8 out of 10. I appreciated the taste. And if you really like herbs and spices, the chicken is muy bien!  The sandwich is very juicy. You know what most people say when it's so good, you can feel like having it's flavor burst into you mouth.  You can tell that the meat is very fresh. Even without eating rice, we were too full to finish the fries and salad. I even had the other half of my sandwich for take out. 

We went there on a Sunday afternoon so only a few people were there. There are two Arya Restaurants in Robinson's Manila and we tried the one outside. Well, it was very spacious and their staff are all courteous. And they put lemons on their water!

Maybe I just expected too much just like how i expected too much from the The Dark Knight Rises. Dark Knight part 3 was well crafted but the part 2 (the one with Joker) was just way better. I know there are some loop holes to my argument but i'm not going to spill what it is. Point is, although it's very delicious, as compared to other restaurant we enjoy, it's not something you would keep coming back to. I think it lacks some wow factor considering it being pricey. Well, we haven't tried the rest of the menu, so maybe someday, we will go back there. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Kim 'n Chi

Everytime i feel like rewarding myself after a tiring day at work, I let myself indulge on this heavy meal. This is one of the best thing you can find in a food court. I usually order this for take out since i pass by the mall everyday. It's very heavy on the tummy. I can hardly finish it on my own.

Bulgogi. nomnomnom. 

 Bulgogi is a Korean dish which usually consists of grilled marinated beef, chicken or pork. I have tried bulgogi on another mall's foodcourt but this one in Kim'nChi is probably one of the best there is. It's very saucy and flavorful. Nananamnamin mo ang bawat subo!

Don Henrico's

We love trying out new restaurants but Don Enrico's is probably one of those places we'll keep coming back to. It's love at first taste! I enjoyed every munch of it. 

Seafood Pesto Linguine in Cream Sauce

I will not get tired of eating this pasta. Even if my tummy says I can't handle it anymore, I just want the taste in my mouth. The lemon does the trick for you!

Underground + 23rd Birthday

We planned this trip last December so we had a lot of time to prepare. We got a round trip ticket on sale from Airphil Express for P1500. Since Puerto Princesa is basically my hometown, we don't have any problems when it comes to accommodation. We just commute from place to place and we even have baon on our way. This was our second out-of-town trip together so it is indeed exciting for us both.
